Great stay near the beach!
We had a nice time here! The beach is super close, just across a busy street. We stayed in a suite with a kitchen, which was awesome for cooking some meals. Just a heads up, we had to grab some kitchen stuff like a cutting board and a knife because they weren't in the room. Super friendly staff too!

The location offers easy access to a nearby beach, though swimming isn’t ideal due to the water quality. The rooms are clean, spacious, and well-maintained, with extraordinarily comfortable beds and soft pillows. However, the hotel shows signs of wear in some areas and feels a bit overpriced for what it offers. Enjoyed the free Kona coffee and variety of snacks available.

Highly recommend for families
Our stay was enjoyable, the staff was super friendly. They greeted us with warm smiles and made sure our kids felt right at home with fun snacks at breakfast.
It wasn't exactly cheap, but you get what you pay for.

The location of Kohea Kai Hotel Maui is fantastic, just across the street from the beach. I found the bed incredibly comfortable, perfect for a good night's sleep. The room had a clean and updated feel that caught me pleasantly by surprise. Access to free beach towels and chairs really added to my beach experience. I enjoyed the shower, it was spacious and refreshing. Staff were friendly and offered helpful tips about local attractions. Key drawback was the parking situation. it felt tight and limited. The pool area looked like it could use some cleaning and maintenance—a bit disheartening. Additionally, I felt the resort fees for beach amenities were excessive. The room had a few maintenance issues, like the grout needing fixing. Noise between rooms was noticeable, which affected my peace at times. Overall, a blend of lovely amenities and some areas needing attention.
